Hello, my name is Mark. I'm married, have four kids, and spend most of my free time playing video games or reading the Book of Mormon. I wasn't raised LDS so I'm very opinionated about what's right (and wrong) about the Church. "My Testimony" is posted at www.geocities.com/markezuma and should be considered non-negotiable axioms when posting to me. So, who are you and what do you care about?
Lazy Mormon
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints encourages all its members to be industrious, so most Mormons are anything but lazy. This blog is intended to be an exception that proves the rule.

Mark, It looks like I get to be the first to welcome you to the world of blogging. You might find out that it is even more addictive than video games. That is something I'd know about, I seem to have an addictive personality (I can get hooked on anything). After reading your Testimony I'd say you will be able to help your visitors through your site. My wife and I were both Baptized in the LDS Church two years ago this coming August. We don't make it to Church often because of my strange hours at work and her health problems. We do study at home, but not nearly enough, the day is to short to study enough, life is a test. I do have the Pray Constantly thing down pat. After 55 years I have figured out I can't do anything without Gods help. I met your wife (online) when she started visiting my site and I always look forward to hearing from her, I'll be looking to hear from you from time to time now too. She was a big help to me when I had a problem here at home a few months ago. She can tell you more about that. I'm going to end this (I've been going on to long)by saying Welcome once again. I think this is going to be an interesting site so I will be stopping by again.
God Bless America, God Save The Republic.
Thank you David and it's a pleasure to meet you. My wife told me a little about your dialogs with her. I am not nearly as prolific a writer as she is, but I will try to keep things interesting here.
Welcome to the blogosphere.
Elderscrolls, eh? I'm doing Oblivion at the moment. Morrowind was my fave a few years ago.
Gaming and blogging. They're similar, except with blogging there can be a connection with people you may not have otherwise met. With gaming, if it's not online, you're alone in a vitual world. I'm not a big fan of the online games like Guild Wars or City of Heroes or Everquest... there is rarely any level of civility or maturity.
Blogging may have you stretch your writing skills. It may encourage you to post like it's an online diary. You may write about trivia, trivialities, or something deeply personal - or all the above.
Enjoy your adventures and self-expression, both on and offline.
